About Me
Hey, I’m Johnny — a certified personal trainer specializing in aesthetics, muscle building, and body composition. I help people transform their physiques with science-backed, practical coaching.
I grew up in Rockaway, Queens, NY in a Salvadoran family. In high school I was the skinny kid—soccer, swimming, Muay Thai—but never felt built. I couldn’t fill out a shirt unless it was a small or extra-small. After high school I got into network marketing, learned entrepreneurship and personal development… and after a few years it ended. I was left with no direction, carrying extra fat with not much muscle to show. I’d poured time, energy, and money into a business that didn’t work out and felt like I’d failed—physically and in my career.
So I turned it around. I started hitting the gym at 5am, four days a week, bought a program, and tracked my calories. I went from showing up once every few months to staying consistent for a full year—and rebuilt myself: from skinny-fat, barely hitting 135, to benching 225 and getting a six-pack I never thought I’d see. Now I coach people for a living. I’ve sharpened my skills and education, and I’m tenacious about helping others transform their bodies the way I did—through structure, smart training, and habits you can actually stick to.
When I’m not experimenting in the gym or working, I’m watching Marvel/DC, sci-fi, superhero, or drama shows with my girlfriend — or on PlayStation trying to get better at Fortnite. And I don’t miss UFC main events—ever.

What if I don’t have access to a gym—can I still achieve hypertrophy with home workouts?
Yes, but I recommend getting some equipment or gym access for the best results. Bodyweight exercises are effective but have limitations; if you prefer calisthenics-only training, I may not be the best fit.
What if I have joint pain? Can we still train, and how will the coaching process work?
If cleared by your doctor, I’ll adjust exercise selection and form to train around the pain. I’ll collaborate with your physical therapist if needed to ensure pain-free, effective training.
How will you tailor the program specifically to my goals and body type?
I’ll customize the program based on the aesthetic you want, like achieving a V-taper or improving underdeveloped muscles. I’ll evaluate your physique, identify areas for improvement, and create a program that targets those areas. Your specific goals (e.g., benching 225 lbs, doing 3 pull-ups) and exercise preferences will be incorporated, with adjustments for your body mechanics.
How long will it take to see noticeable changes in muscle size and body composition?
With average genetics and 100% adherence to the program, you can expect noticeable changes within 3 months. Muscle gain: 2-3 lbs per month for males, 1-2 lbs for females in the first 2 years, then slower progress. Fat loss: 4-8 lbs per month, depending on starting point and goals.
